“I always think of her organization as Soulful Journeys since her devotion is not mind deep but soul deep!”

I met Regine 15 years ago when the New York Jung Foundation contacted me to lead a study tour to India to retrace Jung’s 1937-38 journey to India. Our first trip had over 20 participants from all over the world and was a resounding success. Participants loved the locations, and the unique, off-the-beaten-path properties we stayed in — restored historical homes, palaces, and retreat spaces. Based on the incredible response, this became an annual event and is now in its fifteenth year. I am moved by Regine’s unique synthesis of her Swiss precision, American ingenuity and most importantly her love for India in her symphonic creations of these unique encounters with the soul of India. She is noted for personalized attention. Every meal is unique with attention to special requests and allergies. She arranges for special needs and coordinates medical care. We all feel pampered. Many participants have requested pre- and post-trips, and Regine has always gone beyond the call of duty to set up these experiences. I always think of her organization as “Soulful Journeys” since her devotion is not mind deep but soul deep!”

“Mindful Journeys and Regine took my understanding and expectations to a new level.”

I enjoyed the trip of a lifetime by traveling with Mindful Journeys to mystic India in February of 2018. Regine Oesch-Aiyer’s professional and personal attention to detail assured top-quality, unique accommodations, delicious and varied food, a terrific, knowledgeable guide and never-to-be-forgotten moments at each destination. Having traveled to 57 countries across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe and having coordinated and accompanied groups to 11 of these countries, I thought I knew what exciting, meaningful travel looked and felt like. Mindful Journeys and Regine took my understanding and expectations to a new level. I hope to join other Mindful Journey small group travel experiences.

“A world traveler, with discerning taste, she has a special love for India.”

— Elizabeth Titus

I traveled with Regine and Mindful Journeys in a small group to South India. I must admit that I was a bit hesitant to go to India, fearful that it would be too overwhelming in terms of the crowds, noise, and poverty. This is a common misperception among many Americans. Because I knew Regine from our time together in the travel division at American Express, I trusted her to provide a trip like no other. A world traveler, with discerning taste, she has a special love for India, and now spends part of each year living in Bangalore. From the moment my daughter, a recent college graduate, and I arrived at the Taj hotel in Chennai, with Regine in the lobby welcoming us in open arms, I knew it would be the trip of a lifetime. After making sure our room in a renovated section of the hotel was up to par, Regine insisted that we go to the vast beach at dusk, and it was an experience we will never forget, with people from all walks of life, amusements, donkeys, food sellers, and children running into the sea. The two weeks flew by, and we are both ready for our next Mindful Journey!

“It all appeared to be seamless due to careful and thorough planning.”

We were so impressed by and appreciative of the level of love, care, and responsiveness that was provided to us throughout our travels. Regine and Travel Scope created such a precious journey where we were able to just enjoy experiencing the tours each day without having to deal with any of what I imagine are some very difficult logistical challenges of traveling in India. It all appeared to be seamless due to careful and thorough planning. I was also impressed with how prepared and able the tour escort was to address every last-minute surprise along the way. I know that everyone in our group felt cared for and supported in a very personal way. It was truly extraordinary. In fact, the trip was just about as close to perfect as one can imagine.
